Draped Bust Dollar. 1799 B-9. R-1. PCGS graded EF-40 PQ. Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle dollar. An old cleaning many years ago has retoned with the central portions of the coin being a light gray and the periphery, date and devices have hints of gun-metal blue and straw colors. Bolender-9 variety that has the "apostrophe" after the final S in STATES. The reverse has more toning than the obverse. Diagonstic die crack from top of 9, across bust to the 10th star is visible. Planchet is free from problems and any signs of adjusments. Old green label PCGS holder (PCGS # 6878) .
