Draped Bust Dollar. 1798. Heraldic eagle reverse, close date. B-26. R-2. PCGS graded VF-30. Pleasant gray and light golden toning grace the obverse surfaces of this popular "12 Arrows" variety. A darker toning spot at star 12. The surfaces are solid and have no out of place scratches or marks. Reverse has darker charcoal toning in the letters and around the eagle. The entire coin has a very original look to it. This variety is quickly identified by looking at the bundles of arrows and noticing that the bottom arrow has no tip to it. Hence the name "12 Arrows and a Stick" (PCGS # 6873) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,300.

Realized $2,645
