Draped Bust Dollar. 1796. Large date, small letters. Bolender-5a. Rarity-2. Fine-12. Antique gray color with even wear. Some patches of harsher cleaning are seen on the obverse only. Several very light rim bruises are present but they are not disturbing. The reverse of this piece was given better care and shows pleasant surfaces with light gun-metal blue toning at 6:00. A small amount of feather detail is still present. Diagnostic characteristic large die lump at the IC of AMERICA.
