Draped Bust Half Dime. 1800. LM-1, R.3. PCGS graded Fine-12. A nice and original, evenly worn Fine example of this early half dime. A mintage of 40,000 pieces is reported from the year 1800 and 4 die marriages are known, this being the most common. Soft and appealing patina on old pewter surfaces. Planchet quality is above average. Identified by an indentation in the second 0 of the date on the lower part of the digit. Offered in a collectible and desirable condition (PCGS # 4264) .
