Buffalo Nickel. 1936. Type 2. PCGS graded Proof 67. Elusive burst of light yellow, magenta and blue appear as this gem Brilliant proof bufflao nickel is rotated. A well struck example of this second style of proof produced in 1936 for the Buffalo nickel series. The smallest specks are seen to the right of the "Liberty" on the obverse near the rim. Luster flows over the entire coin and there are no marks to be found on the cheek, hair or mid-section of the buffalo. Only 6 specimens are known to be finer at PCGS and this coin does the grade of Proof 67 justice. This fine example complements the 1936 Type I PCGS PR67 in this sale quite well (PCGS # 3995) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.

Realized $3,450
