Indian Head Cent. 1877. PCGS graded Proof 65 Brown. Beautiful gem surfaces with streaky violet and blue toning. Lustrous surfaces and a very sharp Liberty with no marks. A great date in the Indian Head Series and a key date as a business strike. In proof, only 900 were minted and the demand for business strike examples overshadows the significance of this pristine gem proof. PCGS Pop of 5 in PR65BN with a single PR66BN finer (PCGS # 2318) .
