Republican Rome. c. 265-242 BC. Aes Grave As (243.54 g). Head of Roma right, wearing Phrygian helmet; horizontal I behind. Reverse: Wheel of sixteen spokes, horizontal I within. T-V 31; Craw. 24/3; Haeb. pl. 24, 4-10. Mottled green and light green patina, with areas of red or bronze. Handsome portrait. Nearly Extremely Fine.
