Ionia. Ephesos, 387-295 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.6 g). Top view of bee, flanked by EΦ. Reverse: Forepart of stag right, head reverted, next to date palm at left; magistrate's name at right. Head --; BMC --; SNG Cop. --. Toned and well centered, but with areas of surface corrosion; test punch at reverse, otherwise Very Fine. Magistrate's name seemingly unpublished.
