Bruttium. Caulonia, c. 500-480 BC. AR Nomos (7.1 g). Nude Apollo walking right, brandishing branch, small running daimon on outstretched arm, small stag at right with flying heron behind; retrograde ethnic at left. Reverse: Incuse of obverse. SNG ANS 156 (same dies). Some moderate smoothing to obverse fields. Attractive old toning. Very Fine.
