$20 Gold St. Gaudens. 1907. High relief, Roman numerals, flat rim. PCGS graded MS-63. One of America's most famous coins and a superb achievement by Augustus St. Gauden's with regards to design. A well struck piece with the bottom of Liberty's dress struck up so sharply as to appear sculpture like. Full luster over rich yellow fields. Liberty, eagle and sun are free from any serious hits or scratches. This is the Flat Edge variety which is substantially scarcer than the Wire Edge varieties, a small premium usually applies (PCGS # 9136) .
