1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Silver, reeded edge. Judd-957. Pollock-1108. Rarity-5. PCGS graded Proof 64. A near-gem "Standard Silver" half dollar with gray surfaces highlighted by lavender hues. Smooth radial luster. IN GOD WE TRUST is sharply punched and shows no doubling/repunching. Wreath detail is extremely sharp as well. PCGS has graded 8 in PR64 with none finer and this piece is tied for Finest Known. (PCGS # 61203) .
