1869 Pattern Quarter Dollar. Copper, reeded edge. Judd-723. Pollock-804. NGC graded Proof 62 Brown. A popular design type from within the "Standard Silver" Series. Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with three distinct stars and unlike any other design seen in U.S. numismatics. Significantly more rare in copper than its' silver counterpart. Rich coppery surfaces that possess splashes of iridescent toning in the fields.
