1859 Pattern Half Dollar. Copper, reeded edge. Judd-238. Pollock-294 Rarity-5. NGC graded Proof 63 Brown. Rich brown surfaces displaying no hairlines. Several small tick marks on the chin. The unique and appealing "French Head of Liberty", designed by Longacre, and paired with Paquet's cereal wreath reverse die design. Defined wire rim still present on the reverse.
