1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66 PQ. An awe-inspiring Hawaiian commemorative half dollar and one of the finest examples that we have ever had the opportunity to offer. Light gray surface that possess golden toning that shifts to a richer pumpkin, teal and magenta hues just above the portrait of Capt. James Cook. Even with a "glass" it is extremely difficult to locate the smallest mark or flaw and we mention a very tiny tick over the compasses' northern point solely as a means to trace this fantastic coin in the future. Crisp radial luster and captivating eye appeal. NGC has graded 44 in MS66 and only 2 finer, both in MS67 Housed in an older NGC holder, serial # 140250-001.
