Bruttium. Croton, c. 480-430 BC. AR Nomos (7.95 g). Tripod; ethnic at left, stork at right. Reverse: Incuse of tripod. SNG Cop. 1752; SNG ANS 273ff. On small, thick flan. Smoothing to the stork at the right, where there are deposits of horn silver. Old collection toning. Very Fine.
