Lot 188

1909-S Lincoln Cent. VDB. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. The "key" date in the Lincoln Cent series and on just about every collector's want list. This example is golden-brown, with approximately 25-50% of the original red still evident. The strike is really sharp and the overall quality comes very close to the MS-65 level. We note one small mark in the reverse field below the N of ONE. Prices for this date have advanced rather rapidly in the past couple of years, so this might be a good time to get one before they advance any more.
Estimated Value $1,400 - 1,800.

Realized $2,070
