1872 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. A famous date in Indian Cent collecting circles, primarily because of the rarity of Gem and better examples with full Red color. This example features 50% Red, with the balance slightly faded to reddish-brown. Weakly struck on the date and the N of CENT; small spot on the left side of the C of CENT. Pop of 47 with 3 higher all in MS-66 RB. This is the Shallow N with a weak date variety. Very Rare and one of the Finest Known of this variety (PCGS # 2104) .
