Unique "White & Bale" Medal Trial Strike. c. 1834. MS-60 Plus. White metal, Baker 75C. 45mm. Obverse: Bust right of Washington, "GEORGE" at left, "WASHINGTON" at right. Reverse: Blank, with high rims. Published by Wright & Bale, whose imprint appears faintly on the lower left obverse. Bright and clean, with ample traces of original mint luster and a few, minor handling marks. A fabulous George Washington medal rarity and a certain highlight for any major collection.
