Berger, Jacques. Marie Antoinette. Eighteenth century oval profile portrait engraving of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France and wife of Louis XVI, both of whom were guillotined during the French Revolution. The youthful portrait has "J. Berger fecit" penciled below (by the artist?). Actual portrait size is 3¾ x 3 in. Plate size is 6 x 4¼ in. Two corner creases at lower left, just touching the edge of the plate, not affecting the portrait.
