Published during the presidential campaign, as Thomas Jefferson ran against incumbent President John Adams. Much anti-Jefferson content, reporting on the Thomas Jefferson/James Callender scandal, etc. Also, a report that Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin had determined that Timothy Pickering had not embezzeled from the government, and more.
