Listing regulations and directions to be followed by citizens of Rhode Island "who intend to volunteer their services to the General Government in the existing war with Mexico…." Volunteers are "subject to all the liabilities & duties of members of volunteer companies…until they are mustered into the service of the United States…. Secretarial signatures for Governor Byron Diman and Adjutant General T.E. Jenckes. Nice Mexican War content. Fine.
