Davison, Consul, Argentine Republic, New York, informing him that the resignation of Acting Honorary Ensign William Brown of the U.S. Navy "has this day been accepted, agreeably to your request…and has been delivered to him." Very Fine. Matted with an image of Welles and framed to an overall size of 15 x 19 in.
