Snuff Box, c. 1835-40. English, 3 inches in diameter and approximately ¾ inch in height, ebonized wood, with hand-painted portrait of three women in an outdoor setting; one plays the harp and one holds a music book; the third woman stands behind them. There are a couple of old, painted-over edge chips to box. Lovely.
