Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. AR Denarius, Rome, 19 BC. Scarce issue, with interesting error. Moneyer P. Petronius Turpilianus. Diademed and draped bust of Feronia right. Reverse: Kneeling Parthian right, holding standard. RIC 288; BMCRE 14. Reverse a little off center, with widening die break at bottom -- showing evidence of very strong clashing to die in that area.
