Bruttium. Locroi Epizephyrioi, c. 300-268 BC. AR Stater (8.46 g). Pegasus left. Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; ethnic around left. SNG ANS 511 (same dies). Obverse sharp and well centered, the reverse a little soft. Slight deposits near horse's head. Deep iridescent toning, tending to the blues. Very lustrous. Choice Extremely Fine.
