1845-O. NGC graded AU-55. Lustrous, yellow-gold, with coppery toning in the protected areas. Small spot on the rim by the third star. Well-struck for a New Orleans Mint product. Trends in AU for $7,500. Mint State examples are extremely rare and even AU's are tough. NGC reports 14 in this grade, 9 in AU-58 and only four in Mint State (the finest of which is a single MS-64).
