1799. Tarazka 5-D (Rarity 5). Irregular date. MS-63 plus. Here is a magnificent example, boldly struck with all the center points of the stars intact. The surfaces are simply outstanding and shimmer with semi prooflike mint luster. The rims and surfaces are remarkably clean and fresh and only the faintest of adjustment marks are noted on the reverse in the center of the shield (these can only be seen under strong magnification). Taken out of an NGC MS-63 holder (tag included) as the consignor did not agree with the grade. Regardless, if you have been searching for a choice early Capped Bust eagle in choice Brilliant Uncirculated condition with great eye appeal, wait no longer for here is your coin!
