1831. Small letters. PCGS graded MS-65. A very lovely coin, with dreamy rainbow pastels blanketing both sides. The toning does little to impede the underlying luster, which shows up in a swirling cartwheel effect. A fully struck, true Gem example of this date. PCGS reports 12 Small Letters 1831 Quarter Dollars, with only 3 finer (PCGS # 5348) Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,500
