Lot 1086

California, Willits, 1902 PB, $10, First N.B. An outstanding location in Glenn County, this bank only have four notes reported, this being tied for second finest reported. Two small-size notes are also reported. Chartered in December of 1919, the Great Depression closed the bank forever in June of 1931. During that time period it issued a total of just $201,850 worth of large-size notes, which only $4,480 was outstanding in 1931. That works out to 2.2% of the total notes issued where outstanding in 1931 of which .0089% is reported today! It is doubtful that another note will show, but who knows when and where. If you ever wanted a note from this town, here is your chance to buy it. Very Good. Estimated Value $6,000 - 8,000
