1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. PCGS graded AU-50. Possibly the finest known for this variety and die state. Fresh and original with considerable mint luster still visible. Well struck with nearly full hair detail. Friction is noted only on the highest points as well as some minor scattered marks in the obverse field. The diagnostic die cracks for this variety are quite prominent and should not be confused as scratches. Certain to bring a strong price as such quality is seldom offered for the flowing hair type (PCGS # 6052) .
