1876-CC $20 Liberty. Sharpness of Uncirculated. Semi prooflike surfaces accentuate the light marks and hairlines. We note a couple of moderate scratches around the 5th and 6th star and some tar spots to the right of the date which were in the planchet when made. Despite this negative description, this Carson City double eagle has an excellent overall look.
