1886 $3 Gold. PCGS graded Proof 63 Cameo. A Premium Quality example for the grade. Well struck in bright yellow gold with excellent cameo contrast. We note some faint hairlines seen under magnification but many of these are on the plastic and not on the actual coin. We strongly urge the new owner to resubmit this coin for reholdering. Only 142 proofs were struck.
