1795 Flowing Hair Dollar. 2 leaves beneath each wing. NGC graded AU-55. A very pleasing and impressive example of the second year of American Silver Dollar production. Never cleaned, this piece features original, silver-gray colors with golden-brown toning surrounding most of the devices on the obverse. The reverse is a little softer in appearance, not as heavily toned around the devices and with a slightly brighter appearance. The only flaw worthy of note is a tiny rim ding at 5:30 on the reverse. A beautiful, well-balanced piece and a great coin for the type or date specialist.
