1939 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 68 *. A pristine, dazzling white Gem. Well struck, with a nice cameo effect. Proof-68 Walkers are expected to be nice, but this one is especially so, earning it a Star designation from NGC. NGC has graded only 29 Proof-68 1939 Walkers, however, we suspect that only a few of those carry the Star designation. Finding a better one is well nigh impossible -- NGC has graded only 1 Proof-69!
