1916-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. MS-64. First year of issue for A.A. Weinman's Walking Liberty design. In 1916, the Denver mint was the most prolific of the three then operating. However, despite the large numbers of this date, Uncirculated examples of the 1916-D Half Dollar are still prizes. This example has a soft, even luster enhanced by splashes of golden color. The strike is good and the surfaces are very clean.
