1891 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 64 Cameo. Last year of the Seated Liberty design. This lovely Proof has the "orange-peel" surfaces normally associated with Proof Gold coins of the period. A wide band of attractive, speckled toning runs diagonally across the obverse; the reverse is pretty much color-free. A nice example from an original mintage of a mere 600 Proofs.
