1859 Liberty Seated Half Dime. NGC reports 17 in this grade with 7 better. NGC graded Proof 66. An absolutely exquisite little gem. Boldly struck with full definition within the stars and Liberty's head and hair. This beauty has tremendous eye-appeal as the obverse is overlaid with natural violet, rose and blue iridescence, the reverse is lighter with shades of gold. Only 800 proofs were struck and this example must rank among the prettiest.
