1874 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red. From an original mintage of approximately. 700. Well struck with a slight wood grain effect caused by improper alloy mix. This has the same reverse die as seen on the 1872 earlier in the sale with the bulging T. The apparent repunching on the 4 is actually a defective digit punch and is seen on all proof 1874's.
