Triple Crown Photos. Three Framed Enlarged Photographs of Longden's 1943 Triple Crown Victory Aboard "Count Fleet." A Group of 3 framed B&W photo enlargements capturing Longden's thrilling 1943 Triple Crown victory aboard "Count Fleet." Each leg of the Triple Crown is represented, in three separate photos, which use montage to depict "Count Fleet" crossing the finish line, in the Winner's Circle, and the Trophy presentation to the horse's owner, Mrs. John D. Hertz. Each Enlargement identifies, in printed superscript, the name of the race, "The Kentucky Derby," "The Preakness," and "The Belmont Stakes," respectively, with the name "Count Fleet," emblazoned below, and the names of each racetrack, the horse's Owner, Trainer, Jockey, Time, and Distance of the race, printed on the matte bordering the photo. The "Kentucky Derby" enlargement is inscribed, "The greatest Horse I ever rode was Count Fleet--John Longden." An historic, matched set, in identical black lacquer frames. Fine condition.
