Full John Wayne movie contracts are scarce. 1907- 1979) The one and only. Starred in over 80 films such as She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), The Man who Shot Liberty Valence (1962), and True Grit (1969, Oscar).

Document Signed. Ten separate pages, Folio, onion skin. Beverly Hills, CA. July 14, 1947. Contract between Argosy Pictures Corp and John Wayne, to make "a motion picture now entitled 'War Party'." Later this film was renamed "Fort Apache", and became a classic example of Wayne's work. Boldly signed on last page by Wayne and a Vice-President of Argosy.
Staple and file holes at top margin.
Includes two time cards from the negative cutter and the 2nd camera man. Very Good.
