Over nearly 50 years as a bandleader, he remained true to music rooted in the Kansas City style, recognized world-wide for his highly distinctive piano playing. Among his most popular compositions are "One O'Clock Jump" and "Jumpin' at the Woodside.".

Inscribed Photo Signed. 8 x 10 black and white photo of "The Count" at his piano. "To Andrew Best Wishes Count Basie." A classic pose. Matted and framed to an overall size of 17 x 20". Fine.
