Ford, Gerald R. Attractively matted and framed along with a steel engraving from the Office of Printing and Engraving and his official bronze inaugural medal. Overall size 29½ x 15½". 38th President of the United States,1974-1977.

Typed Letter Signed As President. One page, quarto, on blue imprinted White House stationery, Washington DC, September 10, 1975 to the Honorable Seymour Halpern. In responce to Rep. Halpern's request to be invited to a State dinner. In full Ford writes:

"Dear Sy: Many thanks for your nice letter. I am deeply grateful for your kind comments and expression of support from you and Barbara. I have asked the White House Social Office to include Mr. Tanaka on the list of invitations for the State dinner honoring the Emperor of Japan. Unfortunately, it was not possible to invite Barbara and you because of the great number of invitations that had already been extended. I have asked that you be included in one of the future functions. Thank you again for wiriting and Betty joins in sending our very best wishes to Barbara and you. Sincerely, Jerry Ford."
