Kennedy, John F. & Robert F. JFK (1917- 1963) US statesman and 35th president (1961- 63) His Profiles in Courage (1956) won the Pulitzer Prize. First Catholic and youngest person to be elected president. His 'new frontier' in social legislation involved federal desegregation along with Civil Rights reform. On November 22, 1963, he was assassinated in Dallas, TX by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was killed two days later by Jack Ruby.


RFK (1925- 1968) US Politician, Attorney- General (1961-4), notable for his dealings with the Civil Rights movement. Senator from New York in 1965, assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968, in Los Angeles.

United States Senate Cards Signed 4 x3". 1957. The 85th Congress. Both are signed on verso in blue ink. Fine.
Estimated Value $800 - 1,200.
Per the consignor, these Senate cards were obtained in person by the orignal owner. The day she and her sister went to the Senate and encountered the Kennedy boys in the hall. Bobby was happy to sign, JFK was annoyed but obliged.
