Frosty gem 1898-S Double Eagle. NGC graded MS-65. A frosty gem that represents the best available of the date. Between both PCGS and NGC only 3 coins have been graded higher of this date, with a cluster of 74 graded as gems. Resplendent surfaces throughout; vibrant luster, fully struck devices and full mint bloom. Worth a look as these Liberty Double Eagles are very rare in true gem condition.
