Coolidge, Calvin. Signed in full with a huge impressive signature. Accompanied by a an official White House card signed, an engraved plaque and a B & W photograph of Coolidge by Pach Bros. All matted and framed to an overall size of 19 x 19". 30th President of the United States, 1923-1929.

Typed Letter Signed As President. One page, quarto, on black-bordered White House mourning letterhead, Washington DC, August 21, 1923. The mourning stationery reflecting Harding's death just nineteen days prior. President Coolidge writes to his Secretary of Labor, James J. Davis, on "the immigration problem".

"My dear Mr. Secretary: I am enclosing herewith for your consideration, a letter touching on the immigration problem from former Governor Henry J. Allen of Kansas. I think you will find it not only interesting, but confirmatory of your own impressions." .
