Rare Deep Prooflike 1889-CC Morgan. NGC graded MS-62 Deep Prooflike. Frosty devices seem to float above the deep mirror fields. Well struck, as are all Deep Mirror Prooflikes, which by definition resemble Proof coins. The delicate mirror fields show myriad ticks from bag handling, but none are deep or terrifying. Only 350,000 were coined, most were spent, lost, melted or otherwise diminished. Few remain in Mint State, and very few indeed boast Deep Prooflike fields. One for the specialist.
