1918/7-D. Sharpness of Good-4 but treated with acid to enhance the date. One of the most popular and difficult to find Buffalo Nickels in a moderate collector grade. The date has been acid treated to show it more clearly (as most collectors know, Buffalo Nickel dates are worn slick long before the coin is worn out). Were it not for the acid date treatment, this would just be another dateless Buffalo. Typical surfaces for the grade, with the tops of some of the reverse lettering just starting to wear into the rim.
