Mint State 1918/7-D Buffalo. PCGS graded MS-62. A truly rare coin in any Mint State grade! PCGS for all its years of grading has only seen 19 of these, and NGC hasn't seen that many, and this despite years of being listed in the Guide Book and many collectors searching for years without finding one waiting to be discovered. Delicate rose toning on both sides. Obviously an early die state as the dies don't have the usual moth-eaten appearance familiar to Buffalo collectors. The overdate is clear to the unaided eye, but really jumps out under magnifiction. Seldom offered and always expensive.
