The cream paper Presidential seal is pristine and Johnson's signature is nice and clear. Countersigned by his acting Secretary of State. Signed just a week after Lincoln's death, this document shows how quickly the government turned back to business following the assassination of its beloved President. 17th President of the United States, 1865-1869.
