Pinecone (Brown) Bookends, Pair. 1931. Pine needles and pinecones rendered in relief decorate a matte ground which fades from chocolate brown to caramel, and still further to a mustard yellow. Handles take the form of branches. Height: 5" each. Shaped to resemble books held open at 90-degree angles by pine needles and cones. Impressed to the bases, Roseville. With a ¼" chip to one corner and another, slightly larger but totally unobtrusive due to its location, on the base; otherwise fine.
Estimated Value $250 - 300.
